the color of fog

This image was taken along the Washington coast. The sun was shining on the waters of the Pacific Ocean, but the coast was still covered in fog. I left this image unsharpened, because sharpening brought out detail that the fog was meant to hide.

The image below is the only 8x10 image that was taken on Ektachrome, and showed more film grain than the other images that used Kodachrome. In order to reduce the visibility of the film grain I used a Gaussian Blur on the sky.
