| There are many variations
in the color of earth. From the rich choclate brown of wet farmland
to the light brown of sandstone cliffs. This image, taken at
Canyon de Chelly in Arizona, shows earths many shades of brown.
The canyon is still home to Native Americans who have tilled
its rich farmland for thousands of years. The tourists in the
lower right of the image give testiment to the emensity of the
canyon walls. |
